Bidding Opportunities
At BB Housing, we welcome all subcontractors to bid on our rehabilitation projects. We do look to hire as many Section 3 qualified and women-owned and minority-owned subcontractors as possible. This practice is in alignment with our Affirmative Action Plan and the guidelines for working with NSP funds.
Section 3 requires that HUD assisted projects utilize low and very low-income workers whenever possible. A Section 3 business is owned by Section 3 residents, employs Section 3 residents or subcontracts with businesses that provide opportunities to low- or very low-income persons.
